He has taken me on an incredible journey from the inception of a Solar Farm on my land to the finished product. His professional knowledge is second to none. The patience and the explaining he has done is astonishing. If I had another chance to go down the solar route again I would, but only with Chris at the helm!”

Blary Hill Windfarm

A member of our energy and renewables team, who had intimate knowledge of the proposed windfarm on Kintyre in Argyll and Bute, was seconded to RES, the developer, to close off property matters to facilitate construction of the 14-turbine installation.

Neart na Gaoithe offshore wind farm

We acted on behalf of three separate landowners to deliver a strategic approach for their property when access and land rights were required for the development of NnG offshore wind farm. It wasn’t straightforward, but we like a challenge.

Crystal Rig Wind Farm

When commissioned in 2003, the original Crystal Rig was the largest windfarm in Scotland. With a further 11 turbines now consented, the site will eventually exceed 100.

Hagshaw Repower

Our landowning client asked us to explore their options when the developer sought to amend their draft lease for the repowering of a windfarm site and extend the lease term by nine years to maximise the life of the next generation of turbines. This complex situation required foresight and attention to detail to consider appropriate variations to lease terms.
