From the established cities to emerging hotspots like Walsall, Sam’s influence is spreading and his involvement in a new BTR/co-living proposal there, which could see up to 450 units in the town centre, is testament to the sector’s relentless growth.  

When Grantside envisioned a 100-unit co-living scheme in Sheffield, a city close to Sam's heart, he drew from his deep knowledge and prepared detailed documents for operational workshops, enriched by demographic insights and amenity research. The project wasn’t just business, it was personal, and took him back to where he his academic journey began.

Sam played a pivotal role in the Brabazon masterplan for YTL in Bristol. Tasked with a comprehensive BTR Stage 3 report, he dove into socioeconomic data, dissecting the micro and macro aspects of the site. His rental analysis and demographic research painted a clear picture of potential returns, helping YTL sharpen its strategy for 1,300+ homes.

Sam’s expertise in rental projection came to the forefront as he analysed local market trends in West Ham for the TwelveTrees Park development. His work provided feasible rent projections for the 195-unit block and informed key decisions on apartment layouts and amenities, ensuring the scheme would resonate with the market.
