James Hill

He has worked in senior corporate roles for communication infrastructure owners, renewable energy developers, and provided hands-on support for landowners during a period of significant property law change, giving him a unique perspective when looking at potential opportunities both in terms of what occupiers are seeking to achieve while clearly understanding the needs of the landowner. 

His experience includes representing landowners on Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects, helping them navigate large, complex schemes with clarity and confidence. He led on the production of property development cost models to support bids for the construction of a new national emergency service communication network.  James was closely involved with significant changes to telecom property legislation, planning policy and law, regularly providing evidence and advice for trade-body and governmental use.  

He advises landowners on new opportunities and guides them through complex schemes, marketing land and shaping developments that strengthen estates for the future. His focus is driving and playing a part in decarbonising the UK’s energy use. 

James is straight-talking and practical, bringing a calm confidence to his work. His experience includes advising on major government infrastructure contracts and leading the development of national legislation.

His work spans across England and Wales, where he is involved with early estate wide reviews for potential renewable opportunities to large infrastructure projects for landowner and institutional clients.
