Take-up of units under 50,000 sq ft increases across Milton Keynes and Northampton

Both Milton Keynes and Northampton saw an increase in take-up of units <50,000 sq ft in the first half of 2026, reflecting steady demand from sports, manufacturers, wholesalers and trade counters. The amount of space available in small and medium sized units barely changed and prime standard industrial rents in Milton Keynes and Northampton rose to £15.00 psf and £12.50 psf at mid-year, respectively. The big box market was quiet, although there was a jump in requirements from third party logistics firms.
